We are very grateful for your good quality furniture donations however there are restrictions as to what we can collect. Please consider the following when donating an item:-
Sofas and armchairs
Need to be 6ft 3ins or less in length including arms. The smaller the better as most of our deliveries are to small properties.
We do not usually collect recliners, traditional sofa beds and arm chairs, we never collect wicker sofas or corner.
Bed bases and mattresses
Mattresses need to be in good condition.
We do not collect King size or Super King/Queen.
We collect cots, cot beds and toddler beds.
Tables, chairs and coffee tables
We only collect small tables and chairs (preferable drop-leaf, no glass tops).
We occasionally collect large tables that can be easily manoeuvred.
Wardrobes
We no longer collect wardrobes we provide canvas wardrobes to help our beneficiaries.
Drawers
We collect all drawers.
Cabinets, sideboards and storage
We collect bedside cabinets, small cupboards, sideboards, storage boxes, toy boxes.
We do not collect display cabinets.
Baby items and toys
We collect prams.
We collect Moses baskets, high chairs or bouncers.
We only collect toys at Christmas.
We do not collect car seats.
Bric-a-Brac
We now collect bric-a-brac for our Charity Shop in the Concourse. Please note all items must be in good condition. We do not accept DVD’s/CD’s.
Other items
We collect small electrical items, kitchenware, bedding, rugs and clothes.
We couldn’t keep doing what we’re doing without the generous individuals and businesses who donate to us. Our service is completely free and we rely on the support given to us through the community.
